2s complement conversion -

            Also known as negative number conversion.

-            It includes 2 steps :

i)          1^st complement :  0 change to 1 / 1 change to 0

ii)        2^nd complement : add 1 to the 1^st complement

Example :

11310 – 1710 =

Solution :

i) convert it to binary

                11310  = 11100012

                  1710 = 100012

ii) 11310 + (- 1710) =
